History

Hillside Funeral Home began as Quiring Monument Company in 1911. In 1990, Hillside Funeral Home was established at 935 North Hillside when Olive Quiring Miller, who owned Quiring Monument Company, recognized the need to offer complete funeral and memorial services in the community of Wichita, Kansas.

Additions and consolidation

In 1995, Hillside Funeral Home opened a 2nd location at 2929 West 13th Street to better support the Wichita community. In September 2016, we made the decision to consolidate our 2 locations into a single, convenient location. We now only operate out of our 13th Street location, which offers more to the Wichita community.
